National Purple Heart Hall of Honor

On August 15th, Post 386 was proud to be a part of the re-opening and re-dedication of the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor.  The Genesis Group, four men who got together to establish the groundwork and construction of the Purple Heart Hall of Honor, are pictured below.  This was the first time the original Genesis Group gathered at the site since the new addition and re-dedication of The Hall.  Scroll down for more pictures.

This prayer book (center) and the World War II Devotional Manual (right) were issued to our own Joseph Farina.  The dried palm on the inside left of the Devotional Manual, was sent to Joe by his mother during the war.
